Are You Ready To Be Rich?View details - LookForLinks.com - the ultimate automatic link exchange solution

Are You Ready To Be Rich?

Created: 10/06/2003 | Source: Michael Ambrosio

That sounds like a stupid question, doesn't it. Of COURSE you're ready to be rich, right?

Are you sure?

Did you know that upwards of 75% (give or take) of lottery winners in this country file for bankruptcy within five years?

GADS! How is that possible???

Think about this for a moment. All of your life you have lived paycheck to paycheck, late payments, bill collectors calling. Then suddenly:

BAM!

You're loaded! My gosh, you just got your hands around 18 million simoleans!

After your blood pressure resumes some semblance of normalcy, what do you think would be running through your mind?

"I'm gonna buy me a new house and a house for my parents and a house for each of my siblings and cars and motorcycles and boats . . ." You think that's an exaggeration, but there's people out there like that.

Then of course you get every relative that you never heard of climbing out of the woodwork, friends you never even knew you had, your old third grade teacher - all coming at you with their hands out.

You get the idea.

Rich people get rich and stay rich because they prepare for it.

For many people, preparing themselves for wealth is almost as hard as obtaining it. We have spent our lives thinking a certain way, behaving a certain way, treating money a certain way. Like any old habit, it's hard to break through them.

You need to, though. Take that to the bank. If you're not ready for it, it will either pass you right on by, or it will run you over!

I have read many books in my life pertaining to wealth, written by many authors you no doubt heard of and a few you haven't. One of the underlying messages I see in just about every one of them is about mental preparation.

That means there's many ways to prepare yourself. It's only a matter of finding a way that suits you.

Visualization works best for me. I see myself as a wealthy person. I see myself in my dream home, driving my dream car (or, actually, riding my dream Harley!) living the life of luxury.

Am I wealthy yet? I wish! But I'll tell you this: my outlook and attitude are alot different than they used to be. I find that I believe in myself more than I used to. I find myself trying things I never have before. I believe that puts be a few steps closer to my goals.

Here's something else that's very important in your quest for riches: no one who has achieved great wealth has done it by themselves. Go out and find people who are successful and align yourself with them as soon as possible.

Did you know that if you look at the ten people who you associate with most in your life and averaged their incomes, you'll find that you make pretty much the same? It's true. We tend to emulate people we surround ouselves with. That's something to think about, eh?

I know there's alot to soak up, but here's a short list of books I have found to be the most helpful to me:

Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill One Minute Millionaire by Robert G. Allen & Mark V. Hanson The ABC's of Making Money by Dr. Denis Cauvier & Alan Lysaght. Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki. As A Man Thinketh by James Allen. Acres of Diamonds by Dr. Russell Conwell.

There's many MANY more, but this is a good start. Go get these books, turn off the television and start changing your life.

It's not going to change itself.

I'm not a big fan of the "link exchange" concept. I think it's generally a lot of work (contacting site owners and begging for links) and there is very little return (low response rate and poor links). However, LookForLinks.com has put together exactly the right formula: it's next to zero work, even the most expensive option is almost no money, and the links are automatic and valid. This is the very best way for any website owner to implement a link exchange program.
